The Garden at Pilsdon is primarily an outdoor experience, we recommend visitors dress appropriately for the weather and ground conditions on the day of their visit. The garden and wider landscape is open to the elements and intended to be enjoyed as part of the natural countryside setting.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Entry to the garden is £5 per adult, children are free. Entry offers you a season’s pass so you can come back again for free.

  • Well behaved dogs are more than welcome at The Garden at Pilsdon but must be kept on leads at all times. We ask that you please also clean up after them and use the bin provided.

  • Our garden and courtyard are step free and wheelchair friendly, however the surface outside the courtyard is fully lawned and the ground can be undulating in places.

  • No, our site is fully outdoors. There are parasols over our picnic benches in the the courtyard but we otherwise advise that you dress appropriately for the British weather.

  • We ask that you do not bring picnic food into the garden, you are welcome to bring a blanket and relax in our formal lawn with some of our home made cakes.

  • Yes, when you arrive at The Gardens at Pilsdon, head down the drive and go straight ahead into the grassed field.

    Our farm drive is bumpy in places so we advise that you drive slowly and with caution.
